TM44 Air Conditioning Inspection Level 4 (central)
TM44 Air conditioning inspections are a mandatory requirement of systems over 250kW and above as a Level 4 inspection. ie. where there are buildings with air handling units and chillers with or without heat packs. These inspections are required every five years and cannot be done by the air conditioning M&E contractor they must be done by an independent certified inspector.

ESOS Phase 2 Compliance Audit
ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme) is a legal requirement for organisations over a certain size and must be carried out every four years. The fines for non compliances are very big, up to £50,000, and so the importance of getting this done is critical.
If you business has 250 employees or more or a turnover of £38m and a balance sheet of about £33m, you will need to get this done.
The next qualification period is already underway and the reports need to be submitted by the 5th of December 2019.
The audits must be signed off by an accredited ESOS Lead Assessor, of which we are, and signed off by a board director in your company.

TM44 inspection is required by law for anyone with a combined total of 12kW or more of AC on site. The inspection cannot be carried out by the installer or maintenance company but only by an accredited assessor. The requirements is covered by the same regulations as display certificates and energy performance certificates and aims to provide advice on the improved operation, maintenance and efficiency of systems. Cost for the inspections range from £250 to £495 for a level 3 inspection, split systems and £950 to £1,118.00 for level 4 centralised systems.
