I have been designing websites for over 10 years, but it was always as a favour to friends and family. My roots are in IT Management. In 2014 I decided to take a sabbatical from IT Management and realised that whilst I love my gadgets, my enthusiasm for running IT infrastructure had somewhat waned! In 2017, I decided to follow my true passion and started out on my own as a freelance web designer - and I've not looked back.
I am very particular about how things look aesthetically (my partner says that I have symmetry OCD). If something doesn't look right, I keep going until it does, or drop it altogether in favour of a different approach. I guess this is why web design is a perfect fit for me as making sure a website flows naturally, looks great and is functional is what a client will want as much as me.
